Haunted By The Ghosts Of Chamberlains Past
General
Edward L. Daley
It’s no secret that Iran, and to a lesser degree, Syria, are responsible for supplying weapons to our enemies in Iraq, as well as encouraging would-be terrorists from their own lands to join the ranks of the blood-thirsty Islamo-fascist militias that our military and the Iraqi Army faces on a daily basis in the area known as the Sunni Triangle.
The United States Is Just as Violent as Iraq
General
Dave Gibson
The Iraqi government just reported that during 2006, 16,273 soldiers, police officers, and civilians were murdered in that country. In 2005, 16,912 murders took place in the United States. With many major U.S. cities reporting higher murder rates in 2006, we can expect to easily break the 17,000 mark. While the majority of Iraqi homicides were the result of that nation’s many Muslim factions fighting one another for political control, most U.S. murders can be attributed to drugs and gang violence...Considering that fact, Americans may face a more bleak future than will Iraqis.
Enemy Propaganda on Al-Jazeera English
General
Cliff Kincaid
Brent Bozell wrote an excellent column on the launch of Al-Jazeera English, making the point that the liberals who always decry U.S. government-funded “propaganda,” mostly in the form of news releases, don’t mind the Arab government-funded propaganda on this new channel. In fact, many liberal publications have welcomed the prospect of having this propaganda piped directly into American living rooms.

An Open Letter To The New 2007 Congress: There’s No Such Thing As Sensible Gun Laws, Part II
General
John Longenecker
Before I get to the letter: Many non-gun owners do not know this, but the majority of states of the union favor and support concealed carry of weapons. For decades, officials there have not regretted cooperating with constituents on the subject. Alaska and Vermont require no permit at all to carry a handgun. But nationwide, this coverage is spotty at best and could use a helpful boost from Congress on certain bills under consideration at any one time. Those bills involve nationwide concealed carry of weapons as a moral imperative and pragmatic essential.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had better hurry up. We’re down to the last few hours of 2006 and she hasn’t resigned yet.
Time to Leave Iraq
General
Alan Caruba
Lyndon Johnson would tell anyone who would listen that he did not know how to get out of Vietnam. The result is a memorial wall in Washington, D.C. with the names of some 50,000 or more servicemen and women who died in a war this nation unequivocally lost. Four Presidents wrestled with the questions of whether to get into that civil war and then how to get out.

Berger’s Crime
General
Chris Farrell
We finally have all of the salacious details of Clinton National Security Advisor Samuel “Sandy” Berger’s criminal behavior in absconding with classified documents from the National Archives with the release of an Archives Inspector General report. In 2003, Berger reviewed classified Clinton-era records pertaining to terrorism in preparation for testimony before the 9/11 Commission. Berger lied about taking the classified documents from the Archives, and then later admitted to stealing the documents from the building and sliding them under a construction trailer. He later retrieved the stolen classified documents from the construction area and returned with them to his office, where he destroyed several of the records with scissors.
Middle East Chaos For Dummies
General
James T. Moore
If you expected this article to be about Iraq, turn the page. We’ve already got a plethora of information on that post-Saddam madhouse. No, this piece is about the whole explosive Middle-East, about which most people, I venture to say, are dummies. And I are one.

‘Guess Who’s Coming to the House of Representatives?’
General
Kevin Roeten
Islam is a religion we never have to worry about, right? On 9/11/01, Islamic fundamentalists found out the ‘hard’ way that even a major disruption of America was not enough to curb ‘perceived’ American infidelity. Now, it is a fact that as of 1/4/07, a Muslim(Keith Ellison) will be sworn in to the 110th Congress of the House of Representatives of the USA. No problem, except he says that a Koran must be present for that ceremony. He refuses to swear into office on a Bible.
Bush’s Madness
General
James T. Moore
I Hate To Say This, But… George W. Bush is a mindless, heartless, gutless, mental case. I realize this is a terrible thing for any citizen of the United States to say about their President. Of course, if Bush weren’t the president what anybody says about him wouldn’t be worth much. But Bush IS the president and that makes any statement concerning him, noteworthy. Including mine.
