Since combat operations began in Iraq and Afghanistan, U.S. forces have been subjected to frequent and deadly attacks from insurgents using various weapons such as improvised explosive devices (IED), mortars, rocket launchers, and increasingly lethal ballistic threats. 

It always amazes when the MSM congeals an entire presidential administration into a form that posits that every member of that administration ‘is’ the president. Like when they claim that “Bush Lied” about the faulty intelligence that led to the presentation to the UN to garner support for the action in Iraq given by then Secretary of State Colin Powell. Yet, when the MSM wants to exonerate a single member of any particular administration, suddenly the President is forgotten as a part of the discussion and the individual administration official the press is currently in love with is held as a man responsible for his own decisions and exonerated on that basis.

Were the antics of the six Flying Imams merely additional tactics in the Islamic overall strategy of installing Shari’a law in the USA?  It would appear so, according to some self-avowed moderate Muslims and the results of other recently exhibited actions by US Islamists and their followers.  Let’s take a look.

It was reported recently that Iran had finished a project to install 1,312 centrifuges for enriching uranium. This milestone was reached thanks to a 2001 secret pilot program that was reinitiated in violation of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty imposed by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) which required Iran to immediately suspend any enrichment related activities.

The mainstream media have gone AWOL again - this time by missing the complete story on the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. There are leads suggesting the bombing that killed 168 innocent American men, women, and children had been ordered by Saddam Hussein - then in power in Iraq, and possibly with the help of other Middle East terrorists.

The Virginia Tech massacre was horrendous, and Columbine was horrifying as well. We didn’t even realize what could be done by attackers with guns in schools. But almost every school is a ‘gun-free’ zone, where guns aren’t supposed to exist. Herein lies the answer.

A United States citizen, who trained to fight jihad along with elements of Al Qaeda to establish an Islamic state in Somalia, has been convicted of receiving training from a foreign terrorist organization, according to a Justice Department announcement on Friday.

Media experts, psychologists, medical examiners, and the American public
refuse to see what’s front of them. Seung Hui Cho, the mass murderer at
Virginia Tech, and overseas terrorists are of one and the same deadly breed.
They are natural born killers. They want to kill as many as possible.  They
stage their massacres for the media.  They want to die in the aftermath.

I’m sitting in Florida’s Fort Myers Airport on a sunny April day, waiting for a flight to Newark Airport. The plane is two hours later.

Growing up in rural Arkansas, I was taught never to back down from a fight.  Bullies and thugs were dealt with swiftly and efficiently. Even when outnumbered or outgunned, you stood and fought.  I held that same view as a deputy sheriff, fighting a closed minded, “good ol’ boy” network that would rather a drug dealer go home to mommy and daddy - if the price was right - as opposed to the criminal spending some well-deserved time in the county jail.

Abdelrahman Farhane, a/k/a “Abderr Farhan”, was sentenced in Manhattan federal court to 13 years in prison on Monday. On November 9, 2006, Farhane pleaded guilty to a two-count indictment charging him with participating in a conspiracy to commit money laundering, the object of which was to provide money for jihadists in Afghanistan and Chechnya to purchase weapons and equipment, and with making a false statement to agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in connection with a terrorism investigation.

"What moderate Muslims?” is the near-inevitable retort to my stating that radical Islam is the problem and moderate Islam the solution. Where are the anti-Islamists’ demonstrations against terror, their combating of Islamists, their reassessments of Islamic law?

Last week the Ayn Rand Institute co-sponsored, together with UCLA’s Club L.O.G.I.C., a panel discussion titled Totalitarian Islam’s Threat to the West.
