The Democrats seem unable to come up with a way to lose Iraq without being held responsible for the failure. They must find a way to appease their angry far-Left base—or, as Rep. David Obey (D-WI) redundantly called them while berating a Marine’s mother who asked him to cut off funding for Iraq, the “idiot Liberals.” If they don’t, both major political parties may find themselves at odds with their own main supporters, for different reasons. That ought to make the 2008 elections interesting, to say the least.

Several dangerous precedents were set in the recent kangaroo court conviction of former Cheney Chief of Staff Scooter Libby. To begin with, Libby was tried and convicted for the crime of obstructing justice, ostensibly by providing false information during grand jury testimony.

Organic food activists are being served a heaping platter of organic crow now that we finally learn last fall’s outbreak of deadly E. coli O157:H7 was caused by organically grown spinach.

Liberals know what they want to do and they know where they want to take the rest of us. Families in the United States lost 3,200 of their beloved children in the past five years to fight a bogus war in the Middle-East. We lost a similar number of our best and brightest in the 9/11 massacre. Both groups gave their lives as a direct result of our national penchant for imperialism.

It is a shocker, but the AP actually let loose a kernel of truth about the situation in Iraq in one of their reports for a change. To wit, if ‘Iraqi insurgents wait long enough, the USA will leave’(1) and they can come back on the scene with guns blazing and knives sharpened for decapitations.

Daughters and granddaughters of the women who started the sexual revolution of the 60s have tossed aside what remained of sexual taboos.  Gloria Steinam must be tickled pink.  Just check out what’s going on with the younger generation and you’ll get the picture.  Only the picture is not a pretty one.
