A media watchdog organization says no one should be surprised that media coverage of the war between Israel and Hamas terrorists has been overwhelmingly pro-Hamas.

The verdict is in: the mainstream media were overwhelmingly in the tank for Barack Obama, and did their part to make sure he will be elected. Their polls predict an Obama victory, but the people have a chance to vote against media bias on Election Day.

In the Chicago Sun-Times on October 29, Andrew Greeley said that Barack Obama simply cannot beat racism(1) to become president of the United States. He’s consumed by all the talk of racism during this campaign and he sees it everywhere he turns. Of course, Greeley is right. There ‘is’ a lot of talk of racism. But he isn’t right about where it’s coming from. You see, Greeley is claiming that racism is the sole reason that anyone wouldn’t support Obama and he worries that racist talk is coming in torrents from Obama’s opponents. The truth is, though, that the only people talking about racism is Obama and his most earnest supporters. People like Greeley.

The Los Angeles Times is refusing to release a videotape showing Barack Obama attending an event in Chicago honoring a Palestinian activist who formerly served as a spokesman for Yasser Arafat.

Major broadcast networks ABC, NBC and CBS have decided to help Barack Obama hide his real agenda by refusing to accept advertisements for “The Audacity of Deceit: Barack Obama’s War on American Values,” claims the new book’s author, media expert Brad O’Leary.

The New York Sun, a newspaper launched six years ago billing itself as an alternative to The New York Times, published its last edition on Tuesday.

The mainstream media have gone over the line and are now straight-out propagandists for the Obama campaign.

Let’s talk Mommy Wars, double standards and the media elite. Last Friday, Howard Gutman, a member of the Obama campaign’s National Finance Committee, attacked Sarah Palin’s ability to be a good parent and have a high-powered public life at the same time. In a finger-wagging appearance on the Laura Ingraham radio show, Obama’s operative scolded the Republican mother of five children for not putting her professional career on hold.

With the world constantly changing, with Obama in favor of change, with Obama constantly changing, there remains only one fixed spot in a chaotic world: the mainstream moron media. It’s odd, but I find their predictable nonsense quite comforting.

Just when you thought that NBC’s cable news network MSNBC could not move further to the left, it did so this week — announcing that Rachel Maddow will replace Dan Abrams as host of its 9 p.m. EDT hour.

WAFB TV Channel 9, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana pulled out all the stops for this ridiculous report claiming that “some women” in the Pelican State are resorting to working in strip clubs(1) because gasoline is so expensive. To prove it, WAFB found one woman that said so. I’d say that clinches this as “fact,” then, wouldn’t you?

John McCain has visited Afghanistan and Iraq on multiple occasions.  But, the mainstream media neither reports nor follows McCain when he is overseas.  In fact, they have done and continue to do their best to ignore the Republican presidential candidate.  However, these same media are now dutifully following their messiah - Barack Hussein Obama - wherever he leads them.  And they will no doubt report whatever he and his campaign officials tell them to report.  This time, intense media adulation exists for Obama’s very first trip to Afghanistan.  WOW!  What a guy!!!  And so, the media (including the always-favorably-reporting-on-Obama CBS, ABC and NBC “news” which are said to be the only ones to have been invited by the Obama campaign) begins their first ever overseas campaign rally for their candidate of choice.  Note:  Any thoughts of the leftist media ever returning to straight and unbiased reporting have now been dashed - once and for all.  The media are no longer even attempting to hide their prejudice for only leftist candidates who run for any and all elected offices. 

If the left wants an example of the Bush Administration’s incompetence in the war on terror, they’ve got it in the case of former government scientist Dr. Steven Hatfill, who was falsely accused of the anthrax murders. The U.S. Government “has determined that settlement is in the best interests of the United States and has agreed to pay Dr. Hatfill and his attorneys $2.825 million dollars and purchase for Dr. Hatfill an annual annuity of $150,000,” the Department of Justice said in a statement released on Friday, June 27. But there was no apology for ruining an innocent person’s life and career.

The U.S. is not in a recession, but viewers wouldn’t know it from watching Good Morning America. In the span of three days, the ABC program has eight times proposed cures in its “Recession Rescue” segment. On June 24 alone, GMA fretted about the “recession” five times. This is despite the fact that America hasn’t had one quarter of negative growth, let alone the two necessary for there to be a recession. 

Recently the Rockford (Ill.) Register Star subjected its readers to another fine example of sloppy journalism aimed at exalting the Obama candidacy(1). It is so bad, so pointless, so filled with empty platitudes and meaninglessness that one might suspect it was written by Barack Obama himself instead of a reputed journalist. But it is a perfect example of the sort of slavish devotion the Illinois press is bestowing on it’s almost native son.
