non-partisan article on the one-year anniversary of The Anointed One’s coronation
ObamaNation Ari Kaufman

One year into the presidential affirmative action experiment(1) (after another dramatic failure for his party last night(2)), these are top 3 political recommendations for the Obama White House(3) to rectify their blunders.

Massachusetts Win: Obama Vows Retaliation Against American People
ObamaNation Sher Zieve

First of all, on 19 January 2010 We-the-People did it! A virtually unprecedented event occurred yesterday. The almost bluest of blue states turned partially red in its senatorial election to continue the growing revolt against the totalitarian and patently Marxist/Maoists policies of the current Obama Administration in Washington D.C. The election of now-Senator Scott Brown (R-MA), the first since the reelection of Republican Senator Edward William Brooke III in 1972, was a landslide. Thank you Massachusetts and Scott Brown for a great night.

Dems to Push AMNESTY for Illegal Aliens in Immigration Reform Bill
ObamaNation J. D. Longstreet

Another Try at Amnesty for Illegal Aliens Coming Up in US Congress! - Badly shaken by the Republican victory in Massachusetts, the Democrat/Socialists in Congress are, nevertheless, about to hit Americans with yet another attempt at passing a bill into law that would grant illegal aliens amnesty and provide a route to citizenship for them, as well.

Obama: Our Cold and Distant President
ObamaNation J. D. Longstreet

Remember how the press was insisting during the 2008 presidential campaign, that Obama was sooo coooool? Oh, yeah, “cool, man, cool!”

D-Grading the President
ObamaNation Thomas Lindaman

Last month, President Barack Obama was asked to grade himself on his first year in office, and he gave himself a B+. Wow, if I could have graded myself in school, I would have never had to have repeated the 4th grade...three times. At first, I laughed for two reasons. One, I was watching a Dane Cook comedy special. Two, I didn’t think the President did that great a job.

Waiting for Godot - The Obama Years
ObamaNation Geoff Metcalf

"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.”—Bertrand Russell - Reasonable people can (or should be able to) reasonably disagree if or when they honestly consider facts that may contradict their preconceived opinions and prejudices. However, unfortunately, especially in the partisan environment of politics, reason, honest analysis and fairness too quickly become victims of the “us versus them” thing.  Politics has become a blood sport where the only golden rule is “the team with the gold makes the rules”.

EO 13503 - White House Office of Urban Affairs
ObamaNation Malcolm T. Hedges

’to engage in outreach and work closely with State and local officials, with nonprofit organizations, and with the private sector, both in seeking input regarding the development of a comprehensive urban policy and in ensuring that the implementation of Federal programs advances the objectives of that policy.’

Obama’s Far-Left Radicals Are Destroying America!
ObamaNation Gordon Bishop

’President’ Obama has lifelong associations with Anti-American radicals.

Guantanamo 1, Obama 0
ObamaNation Offsite

Two weeks from today is the deadline for emptying the terrorist detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, a cutoff that the newly inaugurated President Obama established as one of his first acts in office. No one anymore expects his administration to meet the deadline, and Newsweek’s Michael Isikoff reports that there is increasing doubt as to whether it will carry out the promise at all.

Obama Nazifies Christmas
ObamaNation Frederick Meekins

Some may claim that this headline is a little strong.  But if one goes back and studies history, one finds that Hitler also deemphasized the religious aspects of Christmas in deference to a generalized “winter holiday”.

The Handwriting on the Wall
ObamaNation Roxanna Moser

Comes news this morning that senate democrats Chris Dodd and Byron Dorgan will not run for re-election.  Dodd was generally recognized as being the most vulnerable senator up this year.  With this announcement, I believe that Harry Reid is the man on the bubble.

Obama: Tougher on tea partiers than al-Qaida
ObamaNation Offsite

At the Congressional Black Caucus Democratic debate on Jan. 21, 2008, then-candidate Obama stated, “We are seeing al-Qaida stronger now than any time since 2001.  That is a significant threat that has to be dealt with. Because we have been distracted, we have ended up seeing a more dangerous situation.”

2009 the year of the lie - 2010 the year of reckoning
ObamaNation Michael Bresciani

Those who think truth is a relative mix of situation ethics, existentialist mind wresting and just doing what feels good, usually don’t bother with questions about what is true.

Obama’s Critics are also in the White House
ObamaNation Kevin Price

Criticism for the Obama Administration’s economic agenda is hitting very close to home. Martin Feldstein, an advisor to the President on economic issues and Harvard University professor has become openly critical of the President’s health care agenda. In a recent article in the Wall Street Journal(1) (aptly titled “ObamaCare’s Crippling Deficits"), Feldstein states that “the higher taxes, debt payments and interest rates needed to pay for health reform mean lower living standards.”

Obama’s Make-Believe Life
ObamaNation Alan Caruba

I have this theory about Barack Obama. I think he’s led a kind of make-believe life in which money was provided and doors were opened because at some point early on somebody or some group took a look at this tall, good looking, half-white, half-black, young man with an exotic African/Muslim name and concluded he could be guided toward a life in politics where his facile speaking skills could even put him in the White House.
