One year into the presidential affirmative action experiment(1) (after another dramatic failure for his party last night(2)), these are top 3 political recommendations for the Obama White House(3) to rectify their blunders.

First of all, on 19 January 2010 We-the-People did it! A virtually unprecedented event occurred yesterday. The almost bluest of blue states turned partially red in its senatorial election to continue the growing revolt against the totalitarian and patently Marxist/Maoists policies of the current Obama Administration in Washington D.C. The election of now-Senator Scott Brown (R-MA), the first since the reelection of Republican Senator Edward William Brooke III in 1972, was a landslide. Thank you Massachusetts and Scott Brown for a great night.

Another Try at Amnesty for Illegal Aliens Coming Up in US Congress! - Badly shaken by the Republican victory in Massachusetts, the Democrat/Socialists in Congress are, nevertheless, about to hit Americans with yet another attempt at passing a bill into law that would grant illegal aliens amnesty and provide a route to citizenship for them, as well.

Remember how the press was insisting during the 2008 presidential campaign, that Obama was sooo coooool? Oh, yeah, “cool, man, cool!”

Last month, President Barack Obama was asked to grade himself on his first year in office, and he gave himself a B+. Wow, if I could have graded myself in school, I would have never had to have repeated the 4th grade...three times. At first, I laughed for two reasons. One, I was watching a Dane Cook comedy special. Comes news this morning that senate democrats Chris Dodd and Byron Dorgan will not run for re-election.  Dodd was generally recognized as being the most vulnerable senator up this year.  With this announcement, I believe that Harry Reid is the man on the bubble.

At the Congressional Black Caucus Democratic debate on Jan. 21, 2008, then-candidate Obama stated, “We are seeing al-Qaida stronger now than any time since 2001.  That is a significant threat that has to be dealt with. Because we have been distracted, we have ended up seeing a more dangerous situation.”

Those who think truth is a relative mix of situation ethics, existentialist mind wresting and just doing what feels good, usually don’t bother with questions about what is true.

Criticism for the Obama Administration’s economic agenda is hitting very close to home. Martin Feldstein, an advisor to the President on economic issues and Harvard University professor has become openly critical of the President’s health care agenda. In a recent article in the Wall Street Journal(1) (aptly titled “ObamaCare’s Crippling Deficits"), Feldstein states that “the higher taxes, debt payments and interest rates needed to pay for health reform mean lower living standards.”

I have this theory about Barack Obama. I think he’s led a kind of make-believe life in which money was provided and doors were opened because at some point early on somebody or some group took a look at this tall, good looking, half-white, half-black, young man with an exotic African/Muslim name and concluded he could be guided toward a life in politics where his facile speaking skills could even put him in the White House.
