People who follow the teaching of Buddha are called Buddhists. People who follow the teaching of Christ are called Christians. People who follow the teaching of Karl Marx are called Marxists, except in the United States, where they prefer to be called Democrats.

Democrats in Congress are pushing for a new law that would allow nearly 4 million people currently banned from voting to cast their ballot, and most of those millions, studies show, will vote Democrat.

When the San Francisco uber liberal Nancy Pelosi became the Speaker of the House she said she was going to drain the swamp of political corruption they claimed were created by 12 years of Republican control of Congress.  Instead of draining anything Speaker Pelosi and her ham-fisted cohorts have brought slime time to prime time as they wallow in what they came to drain.

In 1999, Eric Holder helped arrange Bill Clinton pardons for 16 unrepentant members of FALN who had been convicted of “a variety of charges that included conspiracy, sedition, violation of the Hobbes Act (extortion by force, violence or fear), armed robbery and illegal possession of weapons and explosives—including large quantities of C-4 plastic explosive, dynamite and huge caches of ammunition.”

The left habitually distorts and exaggerates to demonize and discredit its opponents but squeals like a stuck pig when conservatives use colorful language to call the left out. Unfortunately, some on the right encourage the left’s squealing.

Perhaps it’s a case of cause and effect.

News of the death of 77-year old Congressman John Murtha, of Pennsylvania, on Monday garnered the usual coverage afforded a high-profile political leader by the news media and the Beltway elites.

Once Scott Brown took away the Democrat majority in the Senate by becoming the Republican’s 41st vote based in large part on the fact that Massachusetts voters were unhappy with Obamacare, one would think that President Obama and the Democrat Party would learn a vital lesson. A look at a dozen or so stories across the media over the last few days shows that the Democrats have indeed learned a lesson from Scott Brown’s victory. But is it the right lesson?

A federal grand jury in Arizona began hearing a federal prosecutors’ allegations that the popular Maricopa County sheriff, Joe Arpaio abused his authority. Sheriff Arpaio garnered national attention with his tough immigration enforcement and to many Americans is known as “America’s Sheriff.”

Could it be that some of our democrat friends can see the writing on the wall? Dorgan and Dodd suddenly decide they don’t want to run again, Pelosi taking swipes at the president and of course the democrat congressman who switched parties I would say they are imploding left and right. Unfortunately for me I have been following these people long enough to know they don’t have a conscience, and nothing they do is ever selfless so yeah they are up to something. 

’Twas the Night Before Christmas and all through the Rotunda the DC establishment plotted their plunder.  Nearly all were failed lawyers, real bottom-feeders lining up for some slop slung by the Majority Leader, a master practitioner of an illicit craft, namely doling out favors; institutionalized graft.

Late last week the Associated Press featured a photo of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi jubilantly pumping her fist after introducing the sweeping health care legislation that she and her fellow Democrats had just rolled out.
