Jill S. Farrell
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, today released records from the U.S. Department of State detailing the membership, composition, agenda items, and completion dates for the “Security and Prosperity Partnership Trinational Environmental Working Group.” The records, obtained January 31st under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), concern the partnership’s agenda on environmental issues. Judicial Watch filed its original FOIA request on August 8, 2006.

I have written a number of prophetic articles about changes in the governments of democracies since September 11th and since America liberated Iraq. At the time we ended the reign of terror of Saddam Hussein, men like John Kerry were speaking openly about how unsympathetic our democratic allies were toward America. Things have changed a great deal since then.
UCLA Penalizes Student Group’s Exercise of Free Speech
Progressivism
Dr. Yaron Brook
Irvine, CA--UCLA has cravenly scuttled a student-sponsored forum on U.S. immigration policy--and revealed the administration’s contempt for freedom of speech. The administration not only refuses to protect free speech, but also penalizes those who wish to exercise it on campus.

US Government Lied About Border Patrol Agents
Big Brother
Sher Zieve
In order to gain a conviction against US Border Patrol Agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, the US Department of Homeland Security has admitted it lied to Congress. DHS Inspector General Richard L. Skinner, testifying before the Subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee, admitted Tuesday that the charges he and his agency brought against the USBP agents were false and that DHS’ agents had fabricated the evidence used to convict Compean and Ramos. The two USBP agents were convicted of firing upon and hitting admitted drug smuggler Osvaldo Aldrete, while he was in the process of smuggling 743 pounds of marijuana across the border. Aldrete was given immunity from prosecution for testifying against the USBP agents. Skinner is reported to have said that his DHS agents had “misinformed” (AKA “lied to") Congress. Note: DHS’ actions represent a complete obstruction of justice, the Border Patrol agents’ convictions should be immediately overturned and the DHS agents who supplied the bogus testimony should be prosecuted with the full force of the law.

Just about every American, Republican and Democrat alike, conservatives and liberals and even all three Americans in between (aka centrists), are scratching their heads still trying to figure out how something as basic as closing our borders to illegal (unidentified) entry, could be overlooked by so many bright folks, especially at a time when our country is under attack from multi-national terrorists.

In the event you have forgotten why American troops are at war in Iraq (four years is a long time to remember anything), we are there, we are told, to set the Iraqi people free, to bring democracy to the region, to have a staging point for fighting terrorism; to prevent Iran from materializing its nuclear ambitions, and to establish an American presence in the Middle East. Any other reasons are “classified.”

Our pathetic excuse for a national press corps wants the public to believe that the same organization that gave us the oil-for-food scandal can be trusted on its dire predictions of calamity from alleged man-made global warming. Sooner or later, journalists will be advising us to give homage to the earth spirit called Gaia in the U.N.’s Meditation Room so we can understand the rationale behind its latest climate change report. Unfortunately, as I have pointed out in a previous column, the science behind the latest report has not yet been released and may not even exist.
Bush Lied…Imprisoned Border Patrol Agent Nearly Died!

This past weekend, wrongly convicted Border Patrol Agent Ignacio Ramos was severely beaten by five illegal alien inmates. Though George Bush’s hit man U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton promised that Agent Ramos would not be placed into the general population, that is exactly what happened --leaving Agent Ramos vulnerable to brutal attacks from the very people he once locked up. It is obvious that the Bush administration now wants this very brave and very popular agent dead!
Global warming ethics, pork and profits

Global warming alarmism generates political and financial incentives - The ink has barely dried on its new code of conduct, and already Congress is redefining ethics and pork to fit a global warming agenda. As Will Rogers observed, “with Congress, every time they make a joke, it’s a law. And every time they make a law, it’s a joke.”
