John Kerry Still Suffering From Hoof in Mouth Disease
Demercrats
Sher Zieve
Not satisfied with calling US troops stupid, via his now infamous 2006 remarks, the European wannabee Sen. John Kerry has now blasted the entire United States of America. But, then he also did that in the 1970s. Speaking from one of the “world’s stages”, this time in Davos, Switzerland, Kerry firmly placed his horsy hoof in his mouth - again - when he referred to the United States as “a sort of international pariah .” Note: John Kerry is one of the few US citizens who actually is a pariah.

The Myth of Women’s Oppression
Progressivism
Bernard Chapin
One of the most impressive ideas I’ve ever heard was put forth by Christopher Hitchens in his book Letters to a Young Contrarian. He believes that we always profit from debating our opponents as the act of responding to one another propels us towards the ultimate truth. Based on my experiences, Hitchens is absolutely right. Just as doing sets of bench presses cause our muscles to grow, the mind is strengthened by the process of intellectual exchange. Interaction with our enemies makes us fitter.
“Get Out of My Building!” - A Child’s Mind Is A Terrible Thing To Waste
Femi-Nazis
Joel Turtel
About two years ago, I became a volunteer reading instructor in a local public school. I wanted to teach kids to read for a few reasons. First, I think reading is a magic door that opens children’s eyes to the world. Second, I was completing my second book, “Public Schools, Public Menace: How Public Schools Lie To Parents and Betray Our Children.” I thought I needed some hands-on experience in the trenches.

Media On Trial in Libby Case
Progressivism
Roger Aronoff,Cliff Kincaid
Led by the anti-Bush faction at NBC News, the mainstream media are trying to turn the trial of Lewis “Scooter” Libby, the former top aide to Vice President Dick Cheney, into another indictment of the administration’s Iraq policy. But NBC’s Tim Russert and other media personalities are the ones really on trial, having themselves been implicated in uncertain knowledge of a phony “scandal” about who knew what and when regarding Ambassador Joseph Wilson’s CIA wife, Valerie Plame. You can bet the media will do their best to keep coverage of this trial away from how the Wilson/Plame controversy was completely mishandled by the press and how prominent journalists have memory problems about details in the case that make their own changing stories extremely questionable.
The Battleground Poll and Conservative Strength
General
Bruce Walker
I have been writing for several years now about the Battleground Poll, perhaps the most respected and trusted of all political polls. The poll reveals much more data than most other polls and the questions asked are comprehensive. A Republican polling organization and a Democrat polling organization collaborate on all aspects of the polling process. The Battleground Poll is only conducted about once every eight or nine months. The internals of the poll are available to anyone.
Book: Toledo Catholic diocese paid for abortions
Elitists
Matt C. Abbott
By now, many people are at least marginally familiar with the Father Gerald Robinson case in Toledo, Ohio. Robinson was convicted on May 11, 2006 of murdering Sister Margaret Ann Pahl in a hospital chapel in 1980. He is serving a sentence of 15 years to life.
State of the Union Continues To Weaken Until Border Is Secured
Immigration
Dave Gibson
Most of the State of the Union speech either bored or amused me. President Bush pushed his failed policies in Iraq, offered a typically confused plan to extend healthcare to more Americans, he even talked about the need for electric ‘plug-in’ cars, and dragged-out his amnesty for invaders program again which he claims is not amnesty. However, he spoke one sentence which filled me with rage.
Mexican Terrorists Invade United States
Immigration
William H. Calhoun
Regarding illegal immigration, a former military analyst recently said to me, “We are under attack. Twenty million have already entered the country, and more are to come. And sadly, many of our leaders are siding with the invaders. They are willing to spend billions of dollars to deport foreigners from Iraq and defend Iraq’s borders, but won’t lift a finger to save the USA.”
All Presidental Primaries Should Be Mandated By Law to be 90 days before the Election.
General
Malcolm Hedges
The present system is a scam, that skews the results due to early primaries influencing the others that follow.
The Left Marches On: Pied Pipers whistle Universal Health Care
Progressivism
J. B. Williams
It’s unanimous! What was once known only as “socialized medicine” in socialist nations, was not-so-long ago unsuccessfully marketed as “Hillary-Care” by then First Lady Clinton in the 1990’s. Now it has a new name, “Universal Health Care” and every Democrat politician is on-board the pander wagon.
Too Many Jews, Or Too Many Addled Peanut Farmers?
Progressivism
John W. Lillpop
Say what you like about ex-president Jimmy Carter, the one undeniable fact is this: America’s 39th president is unstoppable when it comes to humiliating himself, the United States, the state of Georgia, Democrats, Southern Baptists, peanut farmers, and liberals in general.
Women Are Not Oppressed
Progressivism
Bernard Chapin
Is there any greater act of cowardice than ignoring the opinions of your foes? Pundits who set up straw men, pretend that their opposition does not exist, and/or shout down their peers, do not so much as win arguments so they do in promote mass confusion. If you want to find truth and persuade others then you should study and vigorously refute the works of your opponents. This is particularly true with the bugbear of women’s (supposed) oppression in America. Even though it seems bizarre for anyone to survey the landscape and regard women as disfavored, the positions of feminist critics must be taken seriously. Jenny Dombrowski, in an article recently penned for the Baltimore Sun is one such commentator.

Newt Gingrich is Right, But He’s Wrong
NewWorldOrder
James T. Moore
Even a super savvy politico like Newt Gingrich can’t always be right. On the other hand, an experienced, former Speaker of the House of Congress, like Gingrich, can’t always be wrong. But name me anyone on the Washington political scene who can do a Houdini and be both right and wrong at the same time? And get away with it?
Why Don’t We All Become Democrats
General
Bruce Walker
The predictable reaction of Democrats to the State of the Union address and the equally predictable second guessing of our Commander-in-Chief while the nation is in a war for its survival should make us ask this question: what if President Bush was a Democrat? Would Republicans rally around a Democrat President Bush? Of course: Republicans did support President Johnson during the Vietnam War. Why do Democrats oppose President Bush right now? They oppose him simply because he is a Republican.
