Mexican Terrorists Invade United States
Immigration William H. Calhoun

Regarding illegal immigration, a former military analyst recently said to me, “We are under attack.  Twenty million have already entered the country, and more are to come.  And sadly, many of our leaders are siding with the invaders.  They are willing to spend billions of dollars to deport foreigners from Iraq and defend Iraq’s borders, but won’t lift a finger to save the USA.”

All Presidental Primaries Should Be Mandated By Law to be 90 days before the Election.
General Malcolm T. Hedges

The present system is a scam, that skews the results due to early primaries influencing the others that follow.

The Left Marches On: Pied Pipers whistle Universal Health Care
Progressivism J. B. Williams

It’s unanimous! What was once known only as “socialized medicine” in socialist nations, was not-so-long ago unsuccessfully marketed as “Hillary-Care” by then First Lady Clinton in the 1990’s. Now it has a new name, “Universal Health Care” and every Democrat politician is on-board the pander wagon.

Too Many Jews, Or Too Many Addled Peanut Farmers?
Progressivism John W. Lillpop

Say what you like about ex-president Jimmy Carter, the one undeniable fact is this: America’s 39th president is unstoppable when it comes to humiliating himself, the United States, the state of Georgia, Democrats, Southern Baptists, peanut farmers, and liberals in general.

Women Are Not Oppressed
Progressivism Bernard Chapin

Is there any greater act of cowardice than ignoring the opinions of your foes? Pundits who set up straw men, pretend that their opposition does not exist, and/or shout down their peers, do not so much as win arguments so they do in promote mass confusion. If you want to find truth and persuade others then you should study and vigorously refute the works of your opponents. This is particularly true with the bugbear of women’s (supposed) oppression in America. Even though it seems bizarre for anyone to survey the landscape and regard women as disfavored, the positions of feminist critics must be taken seriously. Jenny Dombrowski, in an article recently penned for the Baltimore Sun is one such commentator.

HWR Submissions
General Editor

We invite and welcome submissions.  They must come to me or I can’t post.

Newt Gingrich is Right, But He’s Wrong
NewWorldOrder James T. Moore

Even a super savvy politico like Newt Gingrich can’t always be right. On the other hand, an experienced, former Speaker of the House of Congress, like Gingrich, can’t always be wrong. But name me anyone on the Washington political scene who can do a Houdini and be both right and wrong at the same time?  And get away with it?

Why Don’t We All Become Democrats
General Bruce Walker

The predictable reaction of Democrats to the State of the Union address and the equally predictable second guessing of our Commander-in-Chief while the nation is in a war for its survival should make us ask this question:  what if President Bush was a Democrat?  Would Republicans rally around a Democrat President Bush?  Of course: Republicans did support President Johnson during the Vietnam War.  Why do Democrats oppose President Bush right now?  They oppose him simply because he is a Republican.

National Guardsmen Rewarded For Running and Hiding!
Immigration Dave Gibson

The National Guard unit which earlier this month retreated from a Mexican raiding party, will receive medals commemorating their defeat. Apparently, President Bush is pleased that our soldiers are following his orders to forget their oath to protect this nation...the same way he has!

Public Opinion: Experts vs Vox Populi
Progressivism Thomas Brewton

Tension between government by experts (intellectuals, bureaucrats, and independent legislators) and the voice of the people (expressed in elections and opinion polls) complicates politics in our Federal republic.

Neo-Bolivarism: Will Hugo Chavez Become Venezuela’s President for Life?
Progressivism Aaron Goldstein

Since his re-election last month, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has signaled a further turn towards socialism and a turn away from freedom.  The mercurial, self-styled 21st century neo-Bolivarian announced at the beginning of this year that he would nationalize the energy and telecommunications sector as well as remove autonomy from its central bank.  To do this, Venezuela’s National Assembly will pass an enabling act to allow Chavez to rule by decree.  This legislation is expected to be finalized by the National Assembly, which is filled entirely by Chavez loyalists, on January 30th.

McCain, Giuliani, Romney:  Three Stooges
Republicrats William H. Calhoun

First off, and most importantly, all three support the third-world invasion of the United States.  John McCain has gone out of his way to reward illegals and give them more rights than American citizens.  Rudolph Giuliani offered illegals sanctuary in NYC at the expense of hard-working Americans.  And Mitt Romney, who now says he’s opposed to the invasion, only recently supported amnesty.

Demercrats and Republicrats in D.C. are almost all fat cat elitists
Elitists Malcolm T. Hedges

Why? Because our election system requires millionares and billionares to be able to afford the extensive costs to mount and win a campaign.

Good Morning Sunshine!
General Scott Malensek

A new dawn is rising for the Democratic Party!  Fresh from their midterm election victories, their night of gleeful celebration is ending.  The champagne has gone flat.  The Party horns are soggy and worn out.  The warm and fuzzy cooing of the hookers isn’t turning anyone on anymore, and the hangover has already started for many.

The Barker and the Shill: The Fraud of the Fairness Doctrine
Off Site Selwyn Duke

If you’re old enough to remember the days when freak shows were in carnivals and not daytime television, you may know about the barker and the shill.  These were carnival employees who both worked to entice customers into entering the mysterious realm of the sideshow, only, their methods were very different.  The barker - the correct terminology is the “talker” - was a P.T. Barnum-like character, a bold salesman who sang the praises of the exhibits.  Although he was given to the hyperbole of marketing, he made no bones about his agenda: He wanted your business.
