I’m “offended” So Big Deal!
Society item by Malcolm T. Hedges

We are constantly being informed of law suites and legal actions by people that have been “offended” by somebody or something.

This phenomena is pretty much a result of the wimping and feminizing of the populace by the skools and MSM. (Nothing against women they just seem to generally be more socially fragile than men).

I can’t conceive of the number of times in my lifetime that I have been “offended” by something or another.

The word “offended” has an interesting history. ( http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/offended )

As a practical observation any individual (or group) that takes legal action for being “offended” has no true backbone, no life, no concept of social reality or is a social slug.

I’m constantly offended by political doublespeak and BS forced before me.  I’m offended by ugly women portending to be beautiful and attractive.  I’m offended by products that just plain don’t deliver anything close to what is promised.  (The list goes on and on)

Related Extrapolation: Once I had a really huge dog that thought he was a cat because he was raised from being a tiny puppy by our cats.  He was a great dog and I will remember him fondly until I reach room temperature.  His behavior was frankly abnormal.  I looked at it as an interesting but questionable accidental social experiment.

Social experiments on children by short sited and frankly self-serving media and teachers should be declared a crime.

As a practical matter, girls should be nudged slightly toward male values and boys should be nudged slightly toward female values.  Both absolute extremes are pretty much dysfunctional in a practical world.

This is not to say they should be indoctrinated so as to lose there intrinsic gender disposition.  Unfortunately much evidence is surfacing that a very significant portion of the of the male population has been and is being programmed to be “feminized”.

Nothing sexual here just distortion of perceived social behavior expectations.  It is not in the nature of males to be “touchy feely”, it must be generally a result of purposeful indoctrination or programming.

I suggest that the publicly accepted rash of “I’m offended” law suites and legal actions is a manifestation of the subtle feminizing of the male populace and denial/ignorance of the implications.

The males in most every species need to understand that brute force and ignorance is not always the best method.  Likewise, the females in most every species need to get a basic grasp on social reality to help survival of the clan.

Often the “I’m offended” actions have obvious political agendas suggesting they are idealistic, radical or self-serving operations.

The obnoxious and loud “I’m offended” crowd needs to be counted as the result of an interesting but questionable social experiment and summarily dismissed as the social rejects they are…
