In Nazi Germany Hitler rose to power with the help of propaganda news organizations, the Gestapo, became all powerful even though there were not enough of them to be everywhere as the people had feared, as a matter of fact common citizens were more like the Gestapo than the real secret police. That fact was unknown by the general public because the propaganda news services were always talking about the raids in every place to the point the people felt like they were in their on living room listening to every word they said. The Gestapo was Hitler’s henchmen; they were used to silence dissent often taking people they only suspected of speaking ill of the government, creating fear and loathing among the people. People would just simply start to disappear; they would be put in prison without charge, without trial, and without knowing if they would ever leave.

The president recently gave yet another speech in which he attempted to garner sympathy for himself for the charges that he is running a Hitler regime, he seems to think it all has to do with healthcare, he is very wrong. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that once again there is a list of people who dare dissent, using terms like terrorists against citizens of America, with warnings issued to police that these groups may be cross pollinating and even coalescing the Gestapo by the end had complete control of the police and we are to stand by and watch as our police is given a directive to consider us as radical terrorists. He has reached his long arm into every facet our lives, even now he is considering lengthening school days and ending summer vacation, this after giving a speech to our children at school including curriculum against the parents wishes.

It is as if he wants to put us all in a box and play with us whenever he is bored, micromanage every facet of our lives. He is in charge of our banks, the auto makers, Wall Street, he can and has dispatched the Unions and the group ACORN at will against citizens, he has set up an email for people to snitch on others, has used cookies on government web sites to spy on the American citizen and if we have a problem with it, say anything about it we are put on a watch list as enemies of the state.  He is insisting that we pass a healthcare bill only he wants, insisting we pass cap and trade that will raise our rates tremendously and we are supposed to just take it.

In the end it was the citizens that did themselves in, in Nazi Germany, neighbor turning against neighbor for fear that if they did not they themselves would be turned in. Children turned in parents when they did not like what they were told to do or not do, there would be a knock on their door at any time of day and they would simply be taken away, never to return. They were sentenced to camps to work without a trial, they were beaten, some were killed, and they called them reeducation camps, supposedly to educate them on the fact that the government was the only one who was right. Now president Obama may not be the next Hitler, as there are several other leaders his actions would seem to emulate, and with the help of the propaganda media and those in the House and Senate he seems to be right on track to equal or better them. Simple American citizens, disparaged, labeled, put on watch lists, called terrorists, for daring to speak up, and you have no idea why you would be compared to Hitler…
